In the second reading at Mass this evening, as the Apostle Paul explains how a Christian should to act he also provides a definition of a public servant:
Philippians 2, 3-4 (New Revised Standard Version)
"Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves. Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others. "
