Hero of Conservation

Congratulations go out to Jeff Hakanson, who has been named one of three "Heroes of Conservation" by Field & Stream Magazine for the month of March. Jeff is President of Tiogue Lake Association and an all-around good guy. An article about Jeff and the lake appears in the March '09 issue of F&S, bottom of page 29. Kudos to Jeff for all the years of hard work and advocacy on behalf of Tiogue Lake, a body of water owned by the Town of Coventry and home to our only public beach. Preserve, Improve, Protect the lake!
